Off-Road Adventure for the Sentient Being
Here are some tasty tidbits. Don't worry, there are plenty of "secret" trails that will never get publicized here, but these trails are cool and fairly well-known. So far they're not in the guidebooks, and not always easy to find. Hopefully these maps will help you find the trails without taking wrong turns and trampling up the landscape.
Each download contains a nifty map, some notes on the trail, a gps route file (in comma-delimited text format), which most any mapping program should be able to upload (you may have to read the directions). Some trails also contain a tpo and tpg file for users of TOPO! From there, you should be able to easily load it into your gps. If you are not smart enough to load the text file into your mapping program, and you use TOPO!, email me. Eventually I'll write some directions, but I was able to muddle through after a couple tries.
